Then try the Huckleberry waffle, the strawberry waffle, or the stuffed French toast for the kids and the corned beef hash, the half-pound hickory smoked ham, or the sausage links for the adults. Other options include the Louisiana catfish, the Southern-style fish and chips, the shrimp po-boy, the Dixieland steak melt, and the Big Cheesy. Find Huckleberry's at 724 W. Onstott Frontage Rd. Dancing Tomato Cafe This family-owned restaurant is a local favorite that cooks their meals using ingredients from local farmers. Start with the mini meatballs and creamy polenta or the mozzarella sticks before ordering one of their delicious pizzas. They also make their own soups of the day and they have excellent salads. Or you can try a burger, steak, or calzone. The kids will love the chicken wings, cheeseburger, or grilled cheese. Be sure to finish off with a slice of homemade cheesecake. They are located at 990 N. Walton Ave. and they are open every day with the exception of Mondays. Silvio's Pizzeria & Deli This Yuba City chain has two locations, so wherever you are in town, there is probably a Silvio's nearby. You can find them at 1747 Live Oak Blvd,. and 229 Clark Ave. Silvio's makes their own sauce in-house and uses their own sourdough crust recipe to get their famous flavor. Try their pretzel bites with cheese sauce and Sylvio's Special Pizza with pepperoni, salami, olives, sausage, and garlic ranch. 4. Chicago's Pizza With A Twist Located at 887 Colusa Ave., this pizzeria is a great choice for any group that has dietary restrictions. You name it, Chicago's does it, offering vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and halal pizzas. Try one of their classic pizzas or go for a Pizza Twist specialty like the Spicy Lamb Kabob Pizza. The menu also includes salads, pasta dishes, breadsticks, and pizza cookies for dessert. 5. Marcello's Italian Restaurant Pizza is one of America's favorite Italian dishes, so it makes sense to go to an Italian restaurant when you crave a delicious traditional pizza. Marcello's, located at 1235 Bridge Street, is the perfect place to find a delicious thin-crust Margherita pizza.
