Level 1 (120 V) lets you charge anywhere with the same outlet you use for home appliances, Level 2 (240 V) chargers, available at public stations and potentially for home installation, take approximately 9-10 hours for a 100% charge, while compatible DC Fast Chargers can deliver an 80% charge in a little over 1 hour.

Public Charging
Level 1 (120 V) lets you charge anywhere with the same outlet you use for home appliances, Level 2 (240 V) chargers, available at public stations and potentially for home installation, take approximately 9-10 hours for a 100% charge, while compatible DC Fast Chargers can deliver an 80% charge in a little over 1 hour.

HOV
The Niro EV is eligible for a High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) decal in select states, giving you access to the HOV lanes, even when driving solo.
EV INNOVATION
The power to go.
Powertrain and Battery
With an EV drivetrain, the Niro EV has a combined system output of 201 horsepower and 291 pound feet of torque. Behind the wheel, punch it up a notch with the push of a button to engage sport mode. A high-density, lithium-ion polymer 64 kWh battery packs enough power for longer trips, and packs unobtrusively under the rear floorboards to retain a roomy cabin.
Regenerative Self-Charging
Regenerative self-charging captures the kinetic energy otherwise lost when you decelerate or apply the brakes and uses it to recharge the lithium-ion drive battery.
Cold Weather Capabilities
Winter won’t slow you down with the available Cold Weather Package. A Battery heater and heat pump reduces load on the Niro EV’s battery in cold weather. The package also includes heated front seats and steering wheel to help make you comfortable when the temperature drops.
Make Yourself Comfortable
Control your environment remotely to make it perfect for you. Available UVO link services let you start the car and pre-heat or pre-cool the cabin through UVO link app or online portal.
The connected crossover.
Whether you're on the road or on the couch, UVO puts you in the driver’s seat. UVO link syncs your Kia with the Kia Access app, so you can interact with your Niro EV right from your compatible smartphone to set charging schedules, use remote commands, or find nearby charging stations.
